Grooming Report December 14, 2017

December 14, 2017;  Grooming Report

Forestville Real Grooming Report: Groomers are out in force today addressing the 4” of new cold snow.  All trails will be rolled today.  Given time they will then be groomed and track set as soon as possible starting with the Noque’ and Animoosh inside 17k followed by the Wagis and other inside loops.  They will try to get classic tracks set today but it may take until afternoon.

Way Too Long Grooming Report:    The great grooming report writer Sir Thomas More wrote about a place where it snowed three or four inches every few days.  It was never icy, the pole plants were firm and people didn’t snow plow on the down hills.  He called it No Place but the Greek minimal pair is how we use it today.  I expect he had the U.P. in mind.

Saux Head: Saux Head has enough snow to roll now and Tim is at it this morning.  He won’t be able to set tracks until it sets up tomorrow but you should be able to ski by mid day today.

PS: If you have not renewed your Trail Builder membership, now is the time.  Please don’t make me track you down. “
