Grooming January 29, 2018

January 29, 2018;

Forestville Real Grooming Report:  There is 1” of new fluffy snow today. Kirby took the Gator out with the 108 Ginzu (wider and heavier than the normal 96” unit).  He cleaned up the skate lanes on the Noque, Animoosh and Chiwagi via the hill by-pass.  Classic tracks from the weekend are still in good shape.

Saux Head: Tim groomed the skate lane on all trails yesterday and set classic tracks on the 5k race loop.   Saux Head trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing.  They are located 15 miles west of Marquette just off Co Rd 550; follow the signs.  Trails are as spectacular as the views.

Fit Strip: Groomed Sunday

Big Bay Pathway: Saturday 1/27/18.    All trails are groomed. Meditation and Hidden Grin are in great shape.  Bear Mountain is groomed open for skiing.  It is rough in spots.

. Big Bay trails are groomed for classic skiing.  Trails are just off Co Rd 550 in Big Bay.

Way Too Long Grooming Report:   The smart ones will sign up for next year’s Noque’ right away to encourage training. Of course, I have never been accused of that.
