Grooming January 19, 2018

January, 19 2018;  Grooming Report

Forestville Real Grooming Report:  Last night Andy groomed the skate lanes on everything between Forestville and the 17k mark.

Way Too Long Grooming Report:    I had the great good fortune to ski from TP to 510 and back yesterday.  With the exception of the first 2k foot traffic, the entire trail was spectacular.  Day old Bombi grooming cleans up very well with the Ginzu.

I went out via Bagwagi and returned on Chiwagi.  At noon I was stunned to see no skate tracks on Bagwagi.  So, I would like to be serious for a minute (but it’s not likely). I think everyone should be required to ski Bagwagi at least once.  We should consider closing all the other trails for a few days to force people to ski the Wagis.  I mean, the Noque from the trail head to 14k is ok but unremarkable.  On the other hand, the Wagis are world class skiing.  So, your assignment is to ski from TP to 510 via Bagwagi and return Chiwagi.

Saux Head: Tim groomed and set track Wednesday.

Fit Strip: Groomed Tuesday night.

Big Bay Pathway: Meditation and Hidden Grin are freshly packed and groomed. The trail is in excellent condition.  Bear Mountain not groomed at this time.

PS: Sponsored By pictures will begin soon.  So, if you have not renewed your Trail Builder membership, now is the time. You don’t want to lose your K marker.   Please don’t make me track you down. “
