Grooming January 17, 2017

January,  17 2018;  Grooming Report

Forestville Real Grooming Report:  Bombi grooming again!  Doug will head out Bagwagi to Co Rd 510 and return via Chiwagi.  The Bombi sets the best classic tracks and leaves a wide flat skate lane too. It will be spectacular.  In addition, Andy will be out with the Ginzu on all other trails inside 14k.  After that they will attempt again to cross the ponds and groom to the Tourist Park but new snow is what causes slush to spill over the ice so there are no guarantees.

Way Too Long Grooming Report:    Well, there are no excuses for lolling around eating tofu and bean sprouts or liver and onions today.  I should add, the processed cheese food industry and the French farm raised geese industry both turn out to have stronger lobbying effort than those of the Mung bean, soy bean, calf liver or onion cartels.  My sox drawer will suffer in silence again.

Saux Head: We received 8 to 10 inches of powder Monday and Tuesday. It was the  biggest snowfall yet this season. Richard did a triple pass in rolling the trail system this yesterday and Tim will groom and set track today.

Fit Strip: I received a series of texts from Tom last night.  I will leave you to interpret.

First text: Hitch trip is groomed and all is looking good for skiing over there.

Second text: it’s trip not hitch strip. Fit strap. Well, you know what I mean.

Big Bay Pathway: Meditation and Hidden Grin are freshly packed and groomed. The trail is in excellent condition.  Bear Mountain not groomed at this time.

PS: Sponsored By pictures will begin soon.  So, if you have not renewed your Trail Builder membership, now is the time. You don’t want to lose your K marker.   Please don’t make me track you down. “
