Almost a Grooming Report; Come to the Snowball

One would think I could provide useful information without the annoying preamble just once.

Well, although hope springs eternal, if it is ever going to happen, today is not the day.

So, although poor prose and trite tomes are free, grooming is not. With that in mind, until a wealthy benefactor underwrites our operation you will continue to be forced to wade through the chaff to get a few grains of rice. The Snowball is not only fun, it is a major fund raiser for our real work of building trails and grooming snow.

Please join us for fun and frolics at the annual Snowball Gala. You dorky guys have two weeks to come up with witticisms if you hope to start conversations with the pretty girls. And, you pretty girls have time to practice your groans.

See the real press release below:

The Noquemanon Trail Network will celebrate the holidays with their 11th annual Snowball Gala on Friday December 4th. The Masonic Temple will be gaily decorated for the season and all revelers are invited. The ticket price includes scrumptious foods, craft brews from the Ore Dock Brewery and wines from Everyday Wines. Music will be provided by Double Trouble DJ’s so wear your dancing slippers!

Silent auction items such as original art, jewelry, sporting goods, lodging packages, and excursions will be the perfect solution for your Christmas shopping conundrums. So put on your party clothes and help raise the needed funds to secure, maintain and grow our non-motorized trails. The NTN is a 501c3 non-profit organization that receives no government funding.

Tickets are $60 for individuals and $100 for couples. They are on sale at Downwind Sports, Sports Rack, and the Noquemanon Trails Network office at Lakeview Arena or on line at www.noquetrails.org/events. For more information call 906-235-6861
