Due to the forecast showing a REALLY high likelihood of lousy weather tomorrow while it looks to be at least somewhat better for Sunday we are going to reschedule tomorrow’s event for 1pm on Sunday.
All the other details will remain the same.

Take a Kid Mountain biking

Celebrate IMBA’s Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day on Saturday, October 6th. This a great opportunity for you to pass your passion for pedaling on to kids.

Join us for games, snacks, prizes, and trail rides for all ages and abilities!!

* FREE for all participants
* FREE snacks and drinks after the group ride
* ‘swag’ including biking merchandise and gift certificates to Jilbert’s Dairy (distributed randomly while supplies last)


Classroom Prize – most students from an individual classroom. each of the students present gets a prize and the teacher gets a $25 gift certificate to any of one of our business sponsors. Teacher doesn’t need to be present to win.

Family/Team Prize – for an adult that takes part in the activity. Prize is a $25 gift certificate to any of sponsoring businesses. Every adult that brings a kid to bike and rides with the group will be entered to win. # of entries based on # of riders on the team/in family (e.g. if a parent comes with 3 kids they get 4 entries; if a girl scout leader comes with 10 kids, they get 11 entries etc). The adult MUST participate in the event and go on the ride to win.

Grand Prize – A new kids bike from Downwind Sports. All kids who register and take part in the day will be entered to win. Must be present at time of drawing (after the group ride) to win.

1:00 – 1:30 register and free time to ride
1:30 – 2:30 games and contests at the trailhead
2:30 – 3:30 group rides on South trails (all abilities)
3:30 – 4:00 snacks and prizes
4:00 free riding demo (optional)
