NTN Grooming Report, 3.1.13

Forestville:  Noque from tourist park to 14k was freshly groomed and tracked last night. Some slushy spots to watch for on ponds. Early this morning we will ginzu groom and track animoosh and other first priority trails. Yesterday all trails to 18k were bombi groomed and tracked.

Ski and Snowshoe for the Cure! To be held Saturday March 9th from 10-3 pm at the NTN Forestville Trails. This event will benefit cystic fibrosis research. For a $25 donation you’ll receive a day pass (non-members), lunch and raffle tickets. Lunch will be provided by Border Grill. ½ price rental skis and snowshoes will be available. Multi-day Pass Discounts Now Available for all Marquette area NTN Trails:

We have received many requests for a multi-day pass discount and now we have them! Our regular day pass is $10 for adults. For two or more paid days we will discount as follows for NTN Forestville, NTN Tourist Park, Saux Head, Big Bay Pathway and Fit Strip:

  • 2 days at $15 regular $20
  • 3 days at $25 regular $30
  • 4 days at $30 regular $40
  • 5 days at $40 regular $50
  • 6 days at $45 regular $60
  • 7 days at $50 regular $70

Passes can be purchased at the Forestville Trailhead, Downwind Sports and Sports Rack in Marquette. Rental equipment for classic, skate and snowshoeing for all ages and sizes are also available at the Forestville Trailhead.

TONIGHT: Celebrate, Socialize and Relax Friday March 1st at the Forestville Trailhead. An informal ski and social hour for adults will begin at 4 pm and end when it’s over. Gather –up a few friends or ski alone but get out for a refreshing end-of –the-work-week reward. Bring your adult beverage and a “heavy “ hors d’oeuvres to share and we’ll celebrate the Trailhead building’s facelift and the great skis we’ve enjoyed this season.
