“Dogs and Trails” Clinic offered at NTN Forestville Trailhead, Sat. January 18, 2014

MARQUETTE, MI (January 15, 2014)-The Noquemanon Skijor Club is excited to announce the following discussion with Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist, Dr. Susan Kapla, “Dogs and the Noquemanon Trail Network: Owner Responsibility”.

As advocates for dogs on trails, the Noquemanon Skijor Club seeks to educate fellow trail users about responsible pet ownership when their dogs join them on the trails. A round table discussion with Dr. Susan Kapla will take place at the Forestville Trailhead Barn from 1pm – 3pm on Saturday, January 18, 2014. The discussion will center around dog owner responsibility and how the Noquemanon Skijor Club can promote responsible dog ownership and a short session working with participants dogs.

Directions to the Forestville Trailhead: Follow Wright street north off of US 41 for approximately one mile to Forestville Road. Turn left. Follow Forestville road for 3 miles. Watch for railroad tracks to the right. Turn right and cross tracks. Immediately turn go straight, then follow signs to the trailhead, restroom and parking.
