An Ice Cream Thank you!

Greetings NTN Members, An Ice Cream Thank you! What an exceptional 4th of July Weekend!  The weekend was long, the weather was great and ice creams sales were up from last year. The funds raised with volunteer scooping skills has topped out at over $7,000.  The Exchange Club receives 20% for their organization and Jilberts Dairy has been paid for the goods, so all in all, the 2013 Food Fest was a great success. We had over 50 volunteers, without the people named below we could not have delivered to the long lines of people. Thank you to all and

Grooming Report March 28, 2013 Greetings NTN Members, Forestville: We are at the early end of spring skiing. We have yet to see a 24 hour thaw. As a result of the cold nights the snow remains quite nice and the classic tracks are still very well formed although somewhat glazed. Temperatures were cold enough to groom at midnight last night. Skate lanes on the first priority trails (Noque to Pine Plantation and Anamoosh) were groomed early this morning. Excellent skiing continues. Many are calling it the best skiing of the season, along with beautiful spring weather. Grooming priorities: As

Thank the land owners: Skiers are reminded that most of NTN’s trails are on private property and we ski at the pleasure of the owners. Most trails are designated as non-motorized at the request of the land owner. Some areas, however, are on access routes for the land owner’s property. If you see them, be sure to say “thank you”. Grooming priorities: Ideally we would have 50k of groomed skiing every day. It takes about 3

Forestville: 6″+ of new snow last night. We are grooming first priority trails early this morning. Expect softer snow conditions for today. Skiers are reminded that most of NTN’s trails are on private property and we ski at the pleasure of the owners. Most trails are designated as non-motorized at the request of the land owner.
