Food Fest and Parade Volunteers Needed

Food Fest Volunteering Volunteers are needed for Food Fest Fun!  4th of July, is coming soon! The NTN is looking for volunteers for two hour shifts, scooping Jilbert’s Ice Cream at Food Fest. Would you be interested in volunteering again this year? The busiest shifts where we need the most volunteers are on: Tuesday from 4-6pm and 8-10:30pm. Wednesday from 4-6pm and 8-10:30pm. Thursday all day…. Keep in mind the shifts are only two hours and your volunteer time extends to the grooming of the ski trails into the winter months and maintenance of singletrack now. Food Fest Volunteering Volunteers are needed for Food Fest Fun!  4th of July, is coming soonJ The NTN is looking for volunteers for two hour shifts, scooping Jilbert’s Ice Cream at Food Fest.  Tons of summer fun down at Lower Harbor! Thank you volunteering for the 2011; the donation of your time and customer service talent helped the NTN raise over $6,000. Would you be interested in volunteering this year?   The busiest shifts where we need the most volunteers are on: Tuesday from 4-8pm. Wednesday after the parade at 2pm and before the fireworks at 10pm and Thursday evening from 4-8pm.

Work Bee this Weekend NTN Singletrack is hosting a work bee on the South trails this Sunday 6/3/12. Meet at the trailhead at 9:30 for a few hours of work followed by a picnic lunch at 12:30 provided by the NTN. Saturday is BIKE DAY…… April 28th – Get Into Gear Group Ride: a gently paced group ride for those just getting their ‘bike legs’. Twin Peaks Trail Run Date set for June 9, 2012

The NTN Twin Peaks Train Run is set for Saturday June 9th, 2012 this year.  Both the 1/2 marathon and 5K races start at high noon at the South Marquette Trailhead located off or HWY 553. . This is the third year for the Twin Peaks Challenge and the event continues to grow and evolve. NTN Trail Report Forestville: 1.27.12: Groomed Bagwagi, Chiwagi, and Noque to 13K.  Groomed and set track on all of Animoosh. NTN Trail Report Forestville: 1.26.12: The ADA porta pod has been removed because it was hit and is in need of repair.  It will be back out next week after repairs.  We Gator groomed the  Noque to 14, Animoosh, Bagwagi, Sprint loop and New Gookookoo. Grooming  Chiwagi, Migizi now along with crews out on the race course. NTN Grooming Report January 24, 2012

NTN Trail Report Forestville: 1.24.2012: This morning we groomed and tracked Noque to the 14K mark, the Chiwagi bypass, Mukwa, and the stadium.  Please give special thanks to the nice folks at Michigan Sales for making this possible. They have provided the special Gator equipped with tractor treads instead of wheels. It has the power to pull a larger Ginzu. We have it as a demo and we are interested in feedback on the grooming product. Noquemanon Trail Network and “Friends of the Big Bay Pathway” will host the annual Honey Bear Ski Race on the NTN – Forestville location
