Grooming Report, November 26, 2013

Greetings NTN Members, Forestville:  All trails inside 14k were rolled Saturday  except Bagwagi and the hills on Chiwagi.  5” of dense cold snow packed down to a 3” base.  We pulled the 108 Ginzu behind the Gator on Sunday on the Noque to 14k + Mukwa.  We received several positive comments regarding enjoyable skiing Sunday.   We have kept off the trails until more snow to preserve the cover.  That snow looks like it is on the way.  We will be out grooming as soon as snow permits. Saux Head: Is scheduled to be rolled on Wednesday after the snow. Valley

Greetings fellow skiers, I am casting a wide net for input and support of ski operations this year. Last year Laurie headed up ski operations so I have big shoes to fill. Your input will be appreciated. If you know anyone that has interest in what and how we do things please forward this email. I would love to hear from everyone as to your thoughts and what if anything you are interested in doing by way of volunteering. I know we need trail hosts and groomers. We also need advice on grooming strategy and grooming reporting. Any comments on

An Ice Cream Thank you!

Greetings NTN Members, An Ice Cream Thank you! What an exceptional 4th of July Weekend!  The weekend was long, the weather was great and ice creams sales were up from last year. The funds raised with volunteer scooping skills has topped out at over $7,000.  The Exchange Club receives 20% for their organization and Jilberts Dairy has been paid for the goods, so all in all, the 2013 Food Fest was a great success. We had over 50 volunteers, without the people named below we could not have delivered to the long lines of people. Thank you to all and
