Kiwanis Club of Marquette, Chicken BBQ on Sunday, June 8. Looking for volunteers to help as NTN is a grant recipient.  Thank you to Kiwanis of Marquette and Dr. Don:) The time would be from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM with shifts from 11:00-12:30, 12:30 -2:00, and 1:30-3:00 PM at Lakeview Arena.  People can work the whole time or take a shift or if they need to overlap into another shift time, that is okay too (for example 12-1).   There will be work indoors and outdoors.  It does require standing the entire shift –helping in our food lines, walking around

Invasive Feces Cleanup Moved to May 3rd, 9:00 am.

We have evaluated the trails and are sad to say that it is just too wet to scoop and dispose of invasive feces properly tomorrow. We will cancel tomorrows plans and reschedule for next Saturday, May 3rd at 9 am. Will will be following the original plans. See ya at Dirtball at the Dog booth. 2014 Big Bay Relay

Participate in Marquette’s spring tradition! The Big Bay Relay sponsored by Johnsons Superior Shoes and Jimmy Johns is set to take off on Saturday, May 17th 2014. In its 38th year the relay has been a tradition and a challenge. This year’s relay race (five person teams) will start at 8 a.m. and run from Marquette to Big Bay. In the past the race has brought in 50+ teams comprised of elite runners to a team of friends that just like to get out and have an adventure together. NTN Recieve Grant to Purchase Trail Easement

Marquette, MI.  – The Noquemanon Trail Network Council (NTN) is entering into an agreement to purchase a 100 foot wide trail easement and approximately 40 acres of land from Plum Creek with local funding received from the Cliffs Natural Resources/Eagle Mine Marquette County Community Fund. In summary, this easement covers the entire length of the MGHS Noquemanon Ski Marathon and MGHS Ore To Shore race routes, as they sit on Plum Creek land.  In addition, the 40 acre lot is on County Road 510, the western existing trail head for the Noquemanon Trail Network which doubles as the staging area
